pretty exciting is all ive got to say! anyway, one of the biggest surprises is that I actually haven't finished my christmas shopping! but not to worry, i will have it finished on time and under the christmas tree (whoops....for all kids under the age of 8, i meant that Santa will have those presents under the tree by Christmas day. I'd like to digress for a moment, and explore a different aspect of Christmas. now, giving is the true spirit of christmas, and i personally think that giving (when you really spend alot of time trying to find that perfect gift for each person on your list) is more fun. however, id like to know what is the one present that you (anyone who reads this blog) wish you could have, if there were no restrictions of any kind. for example, on my Christmas dream list, i would love to have a new car, specifically a certain Saleen S7 i mentioned in an earlier paper. Xbox 360. is another one of my dream christmas wished. I've always enjoyed gaming, and the xbox 360 is an entire step above current generation consoles. (it actually has more raw processing power than any commercial PC ive seen recently...for the number cruncher out there...it has one teraflop Floating Point performance (FLOP).) Thats ALOT! anyway, down to the final item on my dream christmas wish list, a laptop. college is coming up pretty soon, and a laptop is quickly becoming a college essential. My dream laptop would be this. Of course, i would include a few extra things not shown here, but this is the basic idea :). So anyway, there is my dream christmas wishlist, nothing left out! Anybody who wants to give me their dream christmas wishlist, that would be aweosme! Merry Christmas Everybody! ps, ill see most of the people that read my blog in a few days anyway!
6 days, 4 hours, 51 minutes, 58 seconds...see, some time has passed already!
okay...either a new house or new living room furniture & wood flooring throughout the house. a mini-van or suv with stow & go seating. my piano refinished. some sort of really nice video camera & film camera & digital camera. that's a start....
The car I would want to drive is actually the Ford GT. Even though it costs only $150,000, I would choose it over the S7 or anything else.
My dream is to have a house in Highland.
I also want a cabin in the wilderness with a bunch of four-wheelers and snow mobiles.
My real dream is make the earth's 23.5 degree tilt on its axis go straight so we won't have seasons anymore. Then we could have the same weather all year round. I would also reverse the effects of the tower of Babel thing so everyone would speak the same language. I would then destroy every weed on earth. Also, I want to be the uber supreme ultimate king of the earth.
Well...haha...i like the christmas wishes everybody! Reading over the wishes...i think the "camera" one from kristen is the only one i might possibly be able to do something about! as far as correcting the earth's tilt, i would change it so NC would get some more snow this winter! im tired of all these lame 1" snowstorms weve had! ;)
well, i love the seasons. although i think mid-late spring should last longer (as well as mid-fall), summer should be a little bit less hot & we should get more snow in the winter. if i could order it....if i were wishing for impossible things, i'd have it so i could have long or short hair at any given time without the hassle of growing it out and all that stuff!
haha...speaking of impossible wishes, a good one is to wish that whenever you go to buy something and when you reach into your pocket, you will have the exact amount of money necessary to buy the item :) but clothes are just fine for me for christmas!
haha....man its nice to think about nice christmas wishes! in the end though...i dont mind getting new clothes...because i know the gifts i get are given with more love than a 750 horsepower motor or a laptop can give :)
I like some of the things on those lists...new house, electronic gadgets (computer and picture stuff), and lots of money, etc...lots of fun things, but I guess, really, in the end, they're just things, and we've all got the really important things already!
i agree...i could live my life without those things & i would still be okay, but it was fun to think about. especially since most of it was unrealistic things, it was more like a dream list than a wish list!
